This 1,768 square foot 3 bedroom ranch style home was built in 1957 with quality in mind, nothing has changed since the day it was built with the exception that the quality has improved and it is in perfect condition with many new upgrades.  The original owner was a retired farmer who built the home; while it was being built he lived in the finished basement.  The basement has a full kitchen dining as well as a living room with two bedrooms, a ¾ bath and much of it has knotty pine finish, you get the best of both worlds, use it for your family or rent it out, the choice is yours!

As you enter the home you will be greeted by beautiful hardwood floors or eye catching ceramic tile. The entry from the garage is a very large open area that is covered with the small decorative ceramic tile, just off this entrance is the extra large main floor utility room, this room has the same ceramic tile and ana abundance of space, what a luxury having the laundry on the main floor, it certainly makes that household chore a much easier task.  This room also has a laundry sink to help you with those stubborn stains.  From this room you can also go out to the screened back yard patio.

As you pass from the garage entrance you are now in the kitchen which is designed with you in mind, there are plenty of cabinets for your kitchen utensils as well as all the cooking ingredients you will ever need space for, the room is well paid out and certainly would be a dream come true.  The counter tops have been replaced in the kitchen as well as in the laundry room and bathroom.  The flooring is the same ceramic tile that ran throughout the back foyer and laundry room.   Set up your kitchen table in this room for your daily meals, however when company arrives and you need additional space, you will enter the formal dining room that adjoins this room.

The formal dining room has a built in hutch for your favorite china, the floors are absolutely beautiful as the hardwood floors shine better than they did the day they were installed in 1957.  The present owners have had the floors completely re-done and they certainly make this a special feature of the home, the crystal chandelier just adds a little charisma to what is already there.

The hardwood floors extend into the extra large living room with its picture windows to the street.  You bring all the furniture that you want and you will never run out of space as this room is dynamic in size and beauty.  There is an electric fireplace sitting in the corner of the room to give it a touch of class, the heater certainly adds some warmth to the room during those chilly fall and spring evenings.

The basement is partially finished in knotty pine which certainly gives it that rustic appearance.  There is a full kitchen and dining area along with a large family room and two bedrooms.  Along with that there is a workroom where you can take care of your hobbies, if you happen to be a hunter there is a built in locking gun cabinet and a ¾ bath. The basement has an additional special heater to keep the chill out as needed.

The home is heated with electric baseboard heat with thermostats for each room, if that is not enough there is a wood burning furnace that is ducted right through the previous forced air ductwork for the home.  Talk about toasty warm in the winter with basically very little cost if you wish to take advantage of the furnace.  There is even a room to store the wood you will be burning, with easy access fro the outside, no you do not have to carry your wood down the basement steps!!  There is a newer 200 amp electrical service box along with off peak service.

There is an attached 24x24 two stall garage and attached to the garage is a 14x24 heated workshop, wow if you need a spot to get away too this is it, there are workbenches and shelves just waiting for your crafts or tools.  There is an enclosed screened patio at the back of the home; this is certainly a spot where you could entertain guests during those summer evenings with no worry about those pesky mosquitoes.
