The Bubble Barn a car wash and technology center was built in 2001 and sits on a 50 x 140 foot lot on the main street of Fessenden, North Dakota.  This all steel building is 32 x 66 and rests on an 8 inch cement slab. It is totally handicapped accessible.  There is in floor heat which is electric off peak with propane as a backup source.  The in floor heat certainly make this an easy facility to heat as well as being very comfortable with the even steady heat throughout the building, even the floor in the car wash is heated as is the 3 foot apron near the outside entrance doors, just think that means no freezing of doors during those cold winter months.

The front portion of this building was set up as a technology center where there are there are 32 internet connections with room to expand to 72, if you would like to get involved with technology and also have some income from the Bubble Barn your in for a treat with this building.  What a great spot for telemarketing or just a good technology related business.  The business area could be wide open as one room that is 20 x 32 or it could be divided.  Right now it is open and very accessible.  There is an entrance directly from Main Street as well as a side door.  This area has three remote controlled air conditioning units to keep the facility comfortable and workable.  The owners taught technology classes, but they ran out of space with the supply and demand of people wanting to be trained.  It was specifically built for technology or for the use of office space.

The front portion of the building is now rented out to a local law firm; this is just another avenue for rental income and a return on your investment.  Between the car wash and the office section there is a nice amount of revenue generated.

The entire building is set up with a high quality video security system; this again includes the car wash bays.  It is a 32 day picture system with one tape per month.  Wow, take the weekend off and still keep an eye on what is taking place.

The car wash bay is set up to handle large trucks and equipment; the openings are 12x12 overhead doors with heavy duty openers.  There are controls both in the building as well as outside to open and close the doors.  The wash bays are controlled with a humidity controlled system. 

The equipment has been well maintained as has the building.  Everything that was installed is some of the most modern and current items used in this industry.  The inventory of detergent, soaps and cleaners will be included in the sale as will be any extra equipment that is kept on had.  The exterior of the building is well landscaped; there is an 8x10 storage building for miscellaneous storage as well as a vacuum system for cleaning your vehicle.  The present owners also ran a car cleaning service where if you wanted a full service cleaning, both interior and exterior they would do that for a fee.  The taxes on the property for 2005 were $1,088.88 with a special assessment payment of $208.14.  The Bubble Barn is strongly supported by the community as well as the surrounding area.  The exterior of the building is basically maintenance free with the soft blue color to certainly dress up the Fessenden business community.
